MEET GEORGIA OUR PERSONAL OSTEOPATH

NEWCASTLE

Originally hailing from the Hawkesbury, Georgia studied osteopathy at SCU, Lismore. Since then she has been practicing in Sydney/Newcastle for the past 4 years. In addition to her clinical work, Georgia is also a part-time lecturer, teaching 1st year osteopathy at SCU. She is currently pursuing her PhD, focusing on ways to decrease head injuries in women's rugby league.

Georgia absolutely loves helping people get out of pain and back to having the freedom of movement! As an osteopath, she tends to look at the body as a unit and holistically takes all aspects of the person into consideration. She is in Newcastle every fortnight to treat patients and private health rebates are available. Georgia is registered with AHPRA and is a member of Osteopathy Australia.

Georgia loved sports as a child until she was about 14 when she suffered a significant lower back injury. Unable to do the things she loved due to pain, she was lucky enough to meet an osteopath that helped her get back on track. At that moment Georgia decided she would be an osteopath so she could help others.

In her spare time, Georgia loves discovering all different types of movement, particularly BJJ and gymnastic-based movements.
